Baking, Weaving and Mindfulness Retreat
This is a chance to get away from it all for a relaxing, insightful and energising weekend in the countryside. As a small group of 12, we will be baking sourdough bread and pizzas in our wood fired oven, weaving willow baskets with home-grown willow, eating delicious organic food grown on the farm, practicing yoga and using mindfulness exercises to connect and ground ourselves with each experience

Basket weaving workshop
Join Femke for a inspiring day weaving your own egg collecting basket at e5 bakehouse just in time for Easter.
By showing how to make a lovely spiralling base and by sharing the different ways to fill in the sides, the techniques used for this small round gathering basket can be extended to bread bannetons or fruit & bread baskets.
Femke will bring in her newly harvested semi-fresh willow from her home at fellows farm in some shades of red and yellow to suit the new spring!
Price: £80 including refreshments.
Timings: 10 arrival time, with approximate finishing time at 4.30pm.

Willow Weaving for Basketry @ The Slow Living Market
In this 1-day workshop, Femke will share techniques and practices for making a round basket, the blueprint for making many types of baskets and useful for storing fruit or as a banneton/proving basket for bread making.

A celebration of Lammas, an ancient celebration marking the peak of the harvest season. We’ll share our harvests with each other, bake bread with heritage grains and explore traditional weaves using wheat stalks.

A party in the field to help raise funds for Survival International. Campfire cooking, farm tours and live music from The Lycra Cowgirls!
Indian summer Hoe Down
We’re firing up the wood fired oven & inviting you to join us at the farm for an Indian summer weekend. Including foraging walk, market garden tour, dinner cooked in the wood fired oven, music from Olly Dixon (Filthy Dukes), gong bath.

Join us for a 2 day back-to-basics workshop as we share our passions for real bread and the craft of willow weaving.
Field Kitchen
Super clubs serving fresh produce from the farm on the farm. Cooking over fire and enjoying the meal outdoors beneath coppiced hazel festooned with lights.
